Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the exact make up of my training. As I round the bend of the first quarter of my 36th year on earth, I can honestly say that I’ve never been this strong or felt this good. Anyone who knows me well knows that I haven’t always lived a fit life. In fact, I didn’t exercise ever at all (if I could help it) until I was around 23. And even then, I didn’t get serious for a few more years. But history aside, I feel like I’ve settled into a training routine that fits my life, body, and goals really well. And I’m still learning new information and skills and finding ways to tweak things all the time.
I firmly believe that each person has to find an exercise routine that fits their life, body, and goals. And that means that not everyone should work out in the same way. So I’m not saying my routine is what everyone should do. And I’m not saying I know all there is to know about fitness and nutrition. Far from it, in fact! Although I have my habits, one of my favorite things about fitness is that there’s always more to learn and new ways to grow. But for those who are curious, or have similar goals, I’m going to lay out what I do and some things I eat for one week.
I hope this answers all your questions, but if you have more, please don’t hesitate to ask! I can be reached most easily on my Facebook page. Click here to get to my This Fit Mom Facebook page. Ask any question you like and I’ll do my best to answer it!
